ABOUT NEW ERA
Founded in 1920, New Era Cap, the global leader in headwear manufacturing and creator of New Era apparel, brings to market products that transcend time, culture, sport and fashion. Producing more than 34 million caps per year, New Era is the exclusive manufacturer and marketer of the official on-field cap worn by every Major League Baseball team and their Minor League affiliates and maintaining agreements with other licensed entities. On the street, New Era is known as the ‘Originator of the True Fitted’ for its signature cap style, the 59FIFTY. The Company delivers innovative headwear to a multitude of consumers from the action sports fanatic to the fashion forward trendsetter to the good ol’ sports fans. Not to mention, New Era created Women’s and Kid’s divisions in 2003 to provide caps that are a perfect fit for these TBD. Headquartered in Buffalo, New York, New Era employs approximately 1,700 people world-wide in New York, Alabama as well as at its operations in Canada, Europe, Japan and Hong Kong.
